Across & Down...
and Everything In Between
What if a crossword puzzle could change your life? Hub City Theatre Company invites you to step into the workshop of The Crossword Play, a sharp, surprising, and unexpectedly moving piece that asks what we're really solving when we sit down with a blank grid. We're looking for bold performers ready to hold the room, hold the pen, and maybe hold the answers. Auditions are open to all. No puzzle experience required.

JACKSON'S FIRST
RENAISSANCE ARTS FESTIVAL
Jackson is getting its first Shakespeare festival, and it's going to be a big one. ShakesFest is a free, immersive, Renaissance-inspired arts festival coming to The AMP in Downtown Jackson this October. Produced by Hub City Theatre Company, the day-long event features a live production of Hamlet alongside live music, local artisans, food vendors, roaming performers, and interactive activities for the whole family. It's a brand new annual tradition for West Tennessee, and we want you there.

Sponsors are featured in programs, online, on stage, and across our social media all season long. Whether you choose a season sponsorship or a program ad, your support brings stories to life and makes every performance possible.

To achieve this goal, we aim to present Jackson with a mix of new and familiar theatrical works (always looking for odd shows and/or intimate spaces to perform in) to entertain and to challenge our audience and bring together theatre artists from all walks of life and all levels of experience.
We strive to be a cornerstone of the greater Jackson area by establishing ourselves as a theatre company that is accessible to all, through our commitment to ensemble work and to creating a collaborative environment which fosters growth in audience and artists alike.
